Take Down:

The take down of th BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) is actually quite easy and apparently similar to real steel BAR. There is a good video on You Tube published by VFC so i'll let you look it up yourselves. VFC provides a faux bullet that is used for take down. Be careful when reassembling this AEG, the gas tube arms can be a bit finicky getting them set properly.

Gear Box/Mechbox (VFC BAR Airsoft Rifle)

VFC, use the 7mm metal bushing gear box/mechbox design. All gearbox/mechbox parts are TM(Tokyo Marui compatible) and standard size. The motor is the same EG1300 as used on VFC's other AK74 models which is quite good. Gears in the VFC are all steel, not cast.

The nice feature is the quick spring replacement plug. Pull the pin on top of the gearbox/mechbox and replace with a higher or lower rated spring.
